Abstract:
To provide a colored interference pigment of high tinting strength, the base of which is a multilayer coating thin leaf substrate.
The colored interference pigment contains a colored coating (A) of a refractive index n>1.8, a colorless coating (B) of the refractive index n>1.8, a colorless coating (C) of the refractive index n≤1.8, a colorless coating (D) of the refractive index n>1.8 and optionally an external protective layer (E). The use of the pigment in a paint, a surface coating agent, printing ink, a plastic, a ceramic material, glass, laser marking, cosmetic formulations and the use of the pigment in manufacturing a pigment preparation and a dry preparation are provided.
