Abstract:
To obtain a colored oil varnish or a lithographic printing ink containing the same which can be produced with high productivity in remarkably simplified facilities compared with the ones heretofore in use.
A method for manufacturing a colored oil varnish comprises synthesizing copper phthalocyanine which may have a substituent in the presence of (A) an oil varnish containing an oil having unsaturated double bonds at an iodine value of more than 100 in the molecule. A method for manufacturing a lithographic printing ink comprises adding a metallic soap to the colored oil varnish obtained by the above method.
