To enhance the degree of freedom in design and obtain an original ornament inherent to coatings, by drawing a specified figure using metal wires, and setting a hard film of coatings stretched inside the contour of the figure without provision of any supporting plate.
Without providing any supporting plate, a hard film 3 of coatings is set stretched self-supportingly inside the contour formed by wires 1, for example in a simple heart form. One favorable example of the coatings capable of producing such hard film 3 is epoxy resin series coating. When used as an ornament, this is not substantially influenced by sweat, etc., and exerts better characteristics than other conventional coatings in terms of the strength, durability, etc. A pin 2 for a pierced earring is solidly installed on the back surface of the wire 1 formed from metal, etc., in a simple heart shape. The pin 2 is inserted to a hole in an earlobe, and at its tip, a fastening metal piece called a catch is fitted so that slipping-off is prevented.
