Abstract:

To provide a colored particulate emulsion having a high color density, and excellent shock stability because of hardly causing fusion of fine particles by surface cross-linking, and further to provide an inkjet printing ink comprising the colored particulate emulsion, a color filter for a liquid crystal display, a colored particulate emulsion for an electrodeposited color filter, and a colored fine particle.

This colored particulate emulsion is obtained by dispersing colored fine particles obtained by polymerizing a colored composition comprising a monomer composition and a coloring agent, in an aqueous medium. The monomer composition contains ≥10 wt.% monomer represented by general formula (I) (wherein, R1 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; and R2 is a 3-6C alkyl group), and the colored fine particles have cross-linked structures formed at least on the surfaces.
