Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain monodisperse colored polymer particles having a small particle diameter and an electrophotographic toner and an immunoassay carrier.
CONSTITUTION: A colorant treated with a surface treating agent is dispersed in water and the emulsion polymerization is then carried out in the coexistence of an ethylenically unsaturated monomer and a water-soluble radical polymerization initiator.
