Abstract:

To provide a colored resin composition which enables production of a red color filter having excellent brightness, high quality and high reliability, and a color filter produced by using the colored resin composition.

A colored resin composition for color filters contains a xanthene cationic dye represented by the following formula (1), a binder resin, an organic solvent, a curing agent, and a photopolymerization initiator and/or curing accelerator.
