To provide a colorimetric device and a colorimetric method which can easily measure a color at a desirable temperature for a measuring object.
A colorimetric device 1 measures a color of a measuring object A based on reflection light beams reflected from the measuring object A. The colorimetric device 1 includes: an etalon 4 that allows, of the reflection light beams, a light beam having a specific wavelength to pass therethrough; a light receiving unit 5 that receives a light beam having passed through the etalon 4; a light amount detecting unit 611 that detects a light amount of a light beam received at the light receiving unit 5; a temperature sensor 3 that detects a temperature of the measuring object A; and a color correcting unit 612 that performs calculation on a color of the measuring object A at a desirable temperature based on a light amount detected at the light amount detecting unit 611 and a detection temperature detected at the temperature sensor 3, using correction tables 621 and 622 for correcting a color of the measuring object A to a color at a desirable temperature.
