The coloring composition comprises an oil-soluble dye represented by formula (1) [wherein R1 to R4 are each independently a hydrogen atom or a substituent; R5 and R6 are each independently a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, a heterocyclic group, an acyl group, an alkanesufonyl group or an arenesulfonyl group; R1 and R2, R2 and R5, R5 and R6, R4 and R6 and/or R3 and R4 may bond with each other to form a ring; p is any integer of 0 to 3; and A is any of the groups represented by formulae (2) to (4)].
