Abstract:

To provide a coloring composition for textile printing which provides dyed portions excellent in light resistance when used in printing nylon; a textile printing method using the same; and fabrics with dyed portions excellent in light resistance.

The invention provides a coloring composition for textile printing, which contains a dye represented by the general formula (X) and water. [In the general formula (X), X²¹ to X²⁴ each independently represent an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom. R²¹ to R²⁴ represent an alkyl group, an aryl group, or a heteroaryl group. M represents a hydrogen atom, a metal element, a metal oxide, a metal hydroxide or a metallic halide. P¹ to P⁴ each independently represent an aromatic ring, and the aromatic ring may have a specific substituent. n²¹ to n²⁴ each independently represent 0 to 4, and sum up to at least 1. The structure of the general formula (X) comprises at least two ionic hydrophilic groups.]
