Abstract:
To improve the vibration resistance of a hull structure by absorbing vibration transmitted to the hull structure.
This column device for a hull structure comprises a column member 22 having a hollow interior and opposite open ends and fixedly joined at both ends to other structural members, end plates 23 fixed to the column member 22 to close both open ends thereof, and sand (vibration absorbing substance) 24 filling the interior of the column member 22. The column device is usable as a column 21 in a room structure 6 in a hull 1.
