To improve the uniform transmission of acting axial force from a column to the entire pressure receiving surface of a base isolation bearing in a simple structure.SOLUTION: A column support structure 10 has a base isolation bearing 16 installed on a support structure 24, a column 18 erected on an upper flange 32 on the base isolation bearing 16, a cylindrical member 20 provided around the column 18 and having a lower end joined to the upper flange 32 and a filling material 22 that fills the space between the column 18 and the cylindrical member 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
