Abstract:
To provide a column for treating inflammatory disease which can efficiently treat inflammatory diseases by selectively adsorbing a bacteria-derived toxin, such as the endotoxin, etc., and an inflammatory leukocyte directly from blood with high efficiency.
This column for treating inflammatory disease is filled up with an inflammatory agency adsorbent which can remove both the bacteria-derived toxin and inflammatory leukocyte. The adsorbent is composed of a water- insoluble polymer prepared by bonding N-substituted poly(alkylene imine) residues to side chains.
