Abstract:
To improve the diffusibility of a columnar light diffusion member itself and to facilitate and diversify the design of a light diffusion device using the columnar light diffusion member and the arrangement of the columnar light diffusion member.SOLUTION: A light diffusion pipe 5 having the entire circumference shape of a cross section extended to the outside in each facing portion and including a diffusing surface 5a being an outer peripheral surface exhibiting light reflex action to an outer space region and consisting of a closed curve is used as a columnar light diffusion member used for illumination in a state of being arranged in a space region to be illuminated. A plurality of light diffusion pipes 5 are arranged on a transparent support plate 4, and light incident from the side of the upper end part of light the diffusion pipe 5 is reflected on the diffusing surface 5a and is diffused.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
