Abstract:
PURPOSE: To avoid the need for a special consideration given to installation or removal of concrete form by a method wherein the form having a ready- mixed concrete placing surface on one side is provided on the other side with a reinforced layer formed of a polystyrene sheet containing a rubber component having a range of specific values.
CONSTITUTION: A combination form and insulation board having a ready-mixed concrete placing surface on one side is provided on at least the other side with a hard resin foaming layer for reinforcement to withstand a strong pressure occurring at the time of placing the ready-mixed concrete. The reinforced layer is formed of a polystyrene sheet containing 0.7-7wt.% rubber component. This polystyrene is effective in reinforcing and small in tear strength. Accordingly, when a nail is driven through the ready-mixed concrete placing surface and through the reinforced layer formed on the other side, the reinforced layer is easily torn by the nail head and, consequently, the peeling of the reinforced layer does not occur at the time of removing the form supporting body.
