PURPOSE: To improve the convenience in use by providing support shafts connecting the root section of jaw members connected by the support shafts and a handle inclined to each other, allowing the jaw members to move between a nested position and a projection position, and constituting a pliers in such a way that the handle is automatically opened by the turning of the jaw members to the projection position and closed by the turning to the nested position.

CONSTITUTION: Jaw members 2 and 2 are pivotally connected by a support shaft 3, and handles 6 and 6 are connected to the end sections 5 and 5 on the opposite side of working ends 4 and 4 by support shafts 7 and 7. These handle 6 and 6 are arranged so as to face each other to nest the jaw members 2 and 2 in a channel section 8. In this constitution, when the jaw members 2 and 2 are turned around the support shafts 7 and 7 respectively to be nested in the channel section 8, the handles 6 and 6 are automatically closed, and when the jaw members 2 and 2 are turned to form a projected state from a nested position, the handle 6 and 6 are automatically opened.
