PURPOSE: To improve friction and wear properties to another member each other in a combination of a fiber reinforced metallic composite member with another metallic member.

CONSTITUTION: In the combination of the metallic members, which are in contact by pressing with each other on a sliding surface and are slid relatively, one of the metallic members is reinforced by a reinforcing fiber at least at the sliding surface part. In the reinforcing fiber 2 of the sliding part of one of the metallic members, an angle between axial direction of the reinforcing fiber and the sliding surface 1 is 90° and hardness Hv (10kg) of the sliding surface of another metallic member is ≥400.
