To provide combination of a screw and a driver bit, and a header punch for manufacturing a screw capable of effectively preventing the come out phenomenon of a driver bit, preventing a screw from being broken like conventional cases, achieving steadily appropriately and rapidly fastening work of the screw, and remarkably improving the working efficiency by improving the constitution of a cruciform groove of the screw in the combination of the screw and the driver bit.
A screw 30 provided with substantially right trianglular notched steps 36 in the section in the middle of respective slant grooves 32a of bit fitting groove 32 formed of a cruciform groove in the screw head 30a, a substantially right angular protrusion 56 in the section, adaptable to the notched step formed in the middle of the slant groove of the screw, in the middle of the slant end edge of a flat cutting edge 52 are provided. Further, a driver bit 50 in which the front end face of the cutting edge 52 is formed in a conical protrusion 54, besides the screw 30 and the protrusion 56, is provided to constitute the combination.
