Title:
COMBINATION OF SCREW AND DRIVER BIT AND HEADER PUNCH FOR MANUFACTURING IT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3863924
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To effectively prevent occurrence of a cam-out phenomenon of a driver bit so as to prevent breakage of a screw while always attaining appropriate and rapid screw fastening even though the screw is broken in a bit fitting groove part so as to remarkably enhance the working efficiency.
CONSTITUTION: Vertical end wall parts 32 having a predetermined height are formed in the end edge part of the a bit fitting groove in a screw head part 30a, and horizontal step parts 32b are extended respectively from the vertical end wall parts 32. Further, inclined groove parts 32c are extended respectively from the horizontal step parts 32b to the center part of the screw shank part 30b. Alternatively, tapered or curved grooves are extended respectively from the vertical end wall parts to the center part of the shank part of the screw. Further, the bottom part is formed therein with a substantially conical bottom surface 34, and a driver bit incorporating blade parts adapted to be engaged with the horizontal step parts or the curved grooves is snugly fitted in the screw head part 30.
