PURPOSE: To simplify the circuit of the group translating system by using the local oscillating circuit of UHF commonly as the second local oscillator of VHF.
CONSTITUTION: RF amplifier 5 of UHF is connected to UHF inter-stage circuit 9, and the first mixer 8 of VHF is connected to group translating interstage circuit 10. These inter-stage circuits 9 and 10 are connected to local oscillating circuit 11 of UHF through mixer 12 of UHF. In this circuit, local oscillating circuit 11 varies the oscillation frequency at a UHF receiving time so that the frequency after mixing may be fixed. At a VHF receiving time, local oscillating circuit 11 oscillates a fixed frequency so that the frequency of mixer 12 may be fixed. Thus, the IF signal of a fixed frequency can be obtained. The circuit can be simplified by using the circuit commonly in this manner.
