Abstract:

To prevent atmospheric pollution caused by emission of exhaust gas and to secure an installation space of an exhaust gas cleaner.

A machine frame 1 of a combine harvester has a traveling apparatus 2 under the frame, a thresher 3 at a side above the frame, a grain tank 5 at the other side and a reaping part 4 at a front side. A driver's seat 6 is arranged in front of the grain tank 5, and the exhaust gas of an engine 11 driving the traveling apparatus 2, the thresher 3 and the reaping part 4, is discharged from the machine by an exhaust apparatus 12. The exhaust apparatus 12 has the exhaust gas cleaner 15 attached to an exhaust pipe 14 connected to an exhaust manifold 13 of the engine 11, the exhaust gas cleaner 15 is composed of a DOC 16 and an SCR 17, and the DOC 16 and the SCR 17 are arranged under the grain tank 5 in a state aligned nearly straightly with an intermediate connection exhaust pipe 14B of the exhaust pipe 14.
