Abstract:
To provide a combined crimped filament yarn capable of weaving a grain-toned multi-color carpet having a uniform pattern with modulations and profound coloration with a clear contrast between deep and pale colors.
This combined crimped filament yarn is obtained by combining two or more kinds of crimped yarns of which the each develops different coloration from the others, wherein at least one of the crimped yarns comprises a spun-dyed yarn having a L-value (of the L-a-b chromaticity system) of ≤40, and at least one of the other crimped yarns contains pigment in an amount ≤0.50 wt.% and has a L-value of ≥70.
