Abstract:
To reduce thermal stress generated inside a steam turbine and generated when a gas turbine is suddenly started, or transitions from simple cycle operation to combined cycle operation, in a combined cycle power generation plant.SOLUTION: The combined cycle power generation plant is provided that is composed of a gas turbine, a waste heat recovery boiler generating steam by heat exchange with an exhaust gas of the gas turbine, a steam turbine obtaining power using the steam generated by the waste heat recovery boiler, a steam regulation valve regulating an amount of steam flowing into the steam turbine, and a power generator converting the power of the gas turbine and the steam turbine into electric power, the combined cycle power generation plant further includes: at least one extraction system supplying the extraction steam extracted from outlets excluding an outlet of the last heat exchanger closest to an inflow port for gas turbine exhaust gas, in a group of heat exchangers in the waste gas recovery boiler, to the steam turbine; and an extraction valve controlling an extraction amount of the extraction steam passing through the extraction system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
