Abstract:

PURPOSE:To make improvements in thermal efficiency by setting up a thermionic emission element in a combustor for a gas turbine generating set. CONSTITUTION:A lot of thermionic emission elements 17 are set up in a combustor 3 for a gas turbine generating set which drives a gas turbine 4 by combustion gas out of the combustor 3. Thermal energy at a high temperature region out of the thermal energy of combustion gas generated in the combustor 3 is efficiently converted into thermoelectromotive force. With this constitution, thermal efficiency in the whole power plant is thus improvable.
