Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain combined hollow granules suitable for filler or reinforcing agent, etc., in rubber, etc., having excellent resistance to solvent, mechanical stability and elasticity, etc., by combining hollow particles and organic particles respectively having specific average particle diameters. CONSTITUTION:(A) At least two pieces of radical-polymerizable ethylenic unsaturated group-containing monomer (e.g. ethylene glycol diacrylate), (B) a polymerizable monomer other than the component A (e.g. 2-hydroxyethyl acrylate), (C) organic particles having 0.01-5mum average particle diameter, (D) a polymerization initiator [e.g. 2,2'-azobis(4-methoxy-2,4-dimethylvaleronitrile)] and (E) a dispersant (e.g. polyvinyl alcohol) are uniformly dispersed in an aqueous medium and polymerized to readily afford combined hollow granules preferably having 0.1-300mum average granular diameter composed of hollow particles having 0.1-300mum average particle diameter and organic particles having 0.01-5mum average particle diameter.
