Abstract:
To provide a combined lathe which allows each of a tool post and a third main spindle to enter a movement area of the counterpart without degrading the bearing rigidity of the tool post, and can improve the machining performance.
According to the structure of the combined lathe, an X-Y bearing plane A for bearing the tool post 5 in an X axial direction and an X-Z bearing plane B for bearing the third main spindle 6 in the X axial direction are set in a non-parallel relation, and an X-axial moving line of the tool post 5 is arranged separately from an X-axial moving line of the third main spindle 6 with respect to a Y-axial direction.
