To provide a copper based alloy material which has excellent slidability and durability, and, particularly, to provide a copper based alloy material (composite material) in which a solid lubricant such as PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) and molybdenum disulfide is firmly stuck and fixed to the surface, and which has satisfactory slidability and seizure resistance even in an oil-free environment and a corrosive environment.
The combined material is provided with a rugged part formed on the surface of a copper based alloy material by treating the copper based alloy material with a selective chemical etching liquid and selectively removing easily corrodible components and oxides comprised in the copper based alloy in the copper based alloy material, and a film provided on the surface of the copper based alloy material with the rugged part formed. The selective chemical etching liquid, e.g., comprises one or more of compounds selected from the group consisting of peroxide, peroxo compounds, chromic acid and permanganic acid, and further, comprises one or more of compounds selected from the group consisting of phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, zircon hydrofluoric acid, titanium hydrofluoric acid, titanic acid, molybdic acid, tungstic acid, vanadic acid, niobic acid and organic chelating agents.
