Abstract:
To provide an assembled oil ring capable of reducing friction and having satisfactory oil scraping capacity.
The combined oil ring 4 comprises an oil ring 5 having upper and lower rails 7 and 8, and an expander 6 pushing the oil ring 5 outward in a radial direction. Upper and lower faces of the oil ring 5 are formed on barrel curved faces 14 and 19 from an inner peripheral end to a root portion of an outer peripheral projections 10 and 15 of the upper and lower rails 7 and 8. An axial gap of the barrel curved faces 14 and 19 is set 0.01 to 0.1 mm.
