Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition effective for the primary prevention of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases by combining D,L-lysine acetylsalicylate with α-tocopherol. CONSTITUTION: This composition consists of a mixture of (A) D,L-lysine- acetylsalicylate, (B) a racemic or dextro-rotatory α-tocopherol having the form of base or salt and preferably (C) β-carotene together with a proper excipient. Preferably, the component B is used in the form of acetate, palmitate or succinate, one administration dose of the composition contains 54-540 mg of the component A, 10-1,000 IU of the component B and 5-50 mg of the component C and the composition has a powdery form for the preparation of a drinking solution containing one administration dose of the composition.
