The control subject toy body 10 has: a performance output unit 56; a combination transformation detection unit 60 that detects a shape transformation from the pre-transformation shape; a displacement member 6 that can be displaced from a pre-combination state; a displacement detection unit 82 that detects that the displacement member 6 has been displaced; and a control unit 50 that executes a standby control for starting output of a given combination standby performance from the performance output unit 56 in accordance with detection by the combination transformation detection unit 60, and a displacement-period control for causing a given displacement performance to be outputted from the performance output unit 56 in accordance with detection by the displacement detection unit 82.
