To provide a combing machine capable of adjusting when to open and close a top nipper fixed to a nipper arm with operation outside a gearbox.

A nipper arm 25 is supported, through a spindle 35, by a support member 29 provided above the nipper arm 25, the support member 29 is rotatably supported in an upper side by an eccentric body 28, and the spindle 35 is supported under a stretchable rod section 32. A four-node link is formed by a first crank 37 integrally and rotatably fixed to a nipper shaft 20, a second crank 38 integrally and rotatably fixed to a revolving shaft 27 to which an eccentric body 28 is integrally and rotatably fixed, and a connecting shaft 39 connected to the ends of both cranks. The second crank 38 includes: a body 42 having a hole 42b through which the revolving shaft 27 penetrates and an arc-like long hole 42c, the center of which is the center of the hole 42b; and an adjustment member 43 which is adjustable of a fixed position with respect to the body 42, and is integrally and rotatably fixed to the revolving shaft 27 at the adjustment member 43.
