This combustion apparatus is adapted to inject and supply compressed air toward a combustion chamber by a compressed air injection device connected to a compressed air source, supply a liquid to be burnt from a plurality of oriented liquid filling port toward a jet of compressed air injected from the compressed air injection device, atomize the liquid to be burnt by an atomizer, and shear and mix the liquid from the plurality of liquid filling ports and combustion air taken in from a combustion air intake port by the action of the jet of compressed air injected from the compressed air injection device in a diffuser.
