Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion apparatus for effectively pulverize a solid matter produced by the combustion of a solid fuel.SOLUTION: In a combustion apparatus 10, there is burned a solid fuel supplied to a grate face 34A of a grate 34. Moreover, a first grate 42 is rotated, and an agitation member 58 of the first rotary grate 42 rotates the upper side of the grate face 34A so that clinker produced by the combustion of the solid fuel is crushed between the agitation member 58 and the grate face 34A. Here, the clearance size between the agitation member 58 and the grate face 34A is made smaller as it comes closer to the agitation member 58 on the opposite side of the rotation direction of the first rotary grate 42. As a result, the clinker can be gradually pulverized into finer sizes.
