Title:
COMBUSTION APPLIANCE AND METHOD FOR JUDGING LIFETIME OF THE COMBUSTION APPLIANCE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3667871
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably inform a user of the time of replacing or repairing the component of a combustion appliance by judging the lifetime of the appliance according to the number of times exceeding the previously set abnormal value of a CO value measured while setting conditions of a combination of supply gas amount at the time of combustion and combustion continuing time are satisfied.
SOLUTION: The value of CO generated by the combustion appliance 10 is measured by a CO sensor 48. The lifetime of the appliance is judged according to the number of times exceeding the abnormal value that the value of CO measured during the time when there is the combustion of satisfying the setting conditions of the combination of the supply gas amount at the time of the combustion and combustion continuing time. Normally, the rise of the CO concentration in the exhaust gas due to the abnormal combustion occurs due to the performance decrease of the appliance such as clogging by the deterioration of supply and exhaust system or heat exchanger, collapse or damage of supply and exhaust tubes or insufficient exhaust due to strong wind in the using environment.
