PURPOSE: To increase the air utilization factor of the upper part of an auxiliary combustion chamber, prevent the sticking of fuel to the wall surface of the auxiliary combustion chamber, flow the fuel from the auxiliary chamber to a main combustion chamber, promote the air-fuel mixture forming in the main combustion chamber and combustion and improve the fuel consumption and smoking.
CONSTITUTION: In a combustion chamber wherein an auxiliary combustion chamber 2 is communicated with a main combustion chamber 1 via auxiliary chamber nozzle holes 3 composed in one or plural, and a fuel nozzle 5 is installed on the upper part of the auxiliary combustion chamber 2; plural auxiliary nozzle holes are provided on the circumference of the main nozzle hole of a fuel injection nozzle provided in the auxiliary combustion chamber, and one of fuel sprays f2 blown off from the plural auxiliary nozzle holes is brought into contact with a glow plug 8.
