Abstract:
To provide a combustion chamber structure of an internal combustion engine capable of suppressing interference of intake flows flowing into a combustion chamber from intake ports adjacent to each other.SOLUTION: In a combustion chamber structure of an internal combustion engine in which a combustion chamber is formed inside of a cylinder head 4, and a plurality of intake ports and a plurality of exhaust ports are formed on an inner surface of the combustion chamber, and which includes a plurality of intake valves 12a for opening and closing the intake ports, mask portions 14 curved to narrow a clearance to the plurality of intake valves 12a are disposed on an inner wall surface of the cylinder head 4, the mask portion 14 is formed from a rear end portion 14a opposed to a part at a side opposite to the exhaust port to a front end portion 14b facing the exhaust port in a tangential direction, of an outer peripheral edge of the intake valve 12a and is formed so that a clearance to the intake valve 12a is gradually increased from the rear end portion 14a toward the front end portion 14b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
