PURPOSE: To perform slow ignition without fail, by controlling the revolving number of a fan motor to change to the revolving number for slow ignition soon after the revolving number of a fan motor reaches a predetermined value after a prepurge is started, in a device to control combustion for a burner of forced draft type.
CONSTITUTION: When the faucet of a water pipe 4 is opened, a water flow switch 6 detects water passage, and the sequence of prepurge is started by the detected signal of the flowing water. A fan motor 10 is driven by the maximum input being given to it at the same time a prepurge timer is started, and the revolving number of a fan motor 10 is detected by a detecting means 11. When a controller which judges whether the detected number of revolution reaches a predetermined value or not judges that the number reaches the predetermined value, a controller 2 feed an input targeting the predetermined number of revolution for slow ignition into the fan motor 10, so that the number of revolution of a fan motor 10 is controlled. By this arrangement, the number of revolution of a fan motor 10 has been stabilized in the number of revolution for slow ignition when the prepurge timer is wound up.
