PURPOSE: To form flames almost in the optimum condition, by detecting rays in infrared, visible, or ultraviolet regions by a flame detector, and by continuously controlling therate of combustion air, the opening of an air register, and the combustion rate, by using the resulted analogical output as one of the controlling rate.
CONSTITUTION: When the analogical output waveform of a flame, detected by a flame detector 3, is oscillating, the opening of a register is finely adjusted during a preset time, by a flame controlling logic 1. When favorable output waveforms are obtained by detection of the flame detector 3 as a result of fine adjustment, operation ca be continued, otherwise, fine adjustment is made for the air rate during a preset time, after the opening of a register is reset to the condition in an early stage. When favorable waveforms are obtainable, operation is continued continuing that condition, otherwise, the combustion rate is adjuted after the air rate is reset to the value in an early stage. With such an arrangement, flames can be controlled in a stabilized state, and high combustion efficiency can be obtained in the burner.
