PURPOSE: To speed up the vaporizing state of a fuel and largely reduce the pulsating combustion of the burner by providing a rotation control device for controlling the rotation of a diffusion cylinder so as to speed up the same according to the pulsating combustion detected by a pulsation detector.
CONSTITUTION: A pulsation detector 7 provided in a passage 6 through which combustion air within a ventilation cylinder 2 of the burner 6 passes, detects the pressure of combustion air. The mean value and the variation width of the pressure of combustion air are computed by a rotation controller 55 of an operating device 12. The computed mean value and the computed variation width obtained by the computation are compared with a reference mean value and a reference variation width. When the comparison results in that the computed mean value is equal to the reference mean value and the computed variation width is larger than the reference variation width, the rotation controller 55 controls the rotational speed of a diffusion cylinder 1 to a high speed rotation and the burner 9 burns. By these procedures, the oil file layer of the fuel flowing down along the inner wall of the diffusion cylinder 1 becomes thinned out, and hence vaporization of the fuel becomes excellent and the combustion of the burner 9 is stabilized.
