Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a combustion controller of an in-cylinder infection type two-cycle engine for improving startability of the engine.

CONSTITUTION: A combustion controller of an in-cylinder injection type two-cycle engine is provided with an air fuel injection valve 19 for directly injecting a fuel along with an air for injection into a cylinder, and with an exhaust control valve 11 for controlling exhaust timing by practically changing the upper end position of an exhaust port 3c. An engine condition judgement means 25 for judging whether it is in a starting mode where the starting operation of the engine is carried out, or in an idling mode where the engine is idle-driven, based on the rotational number of the engine, and the opening of a throttle and so on, an exhaust valve control means 26 for fully opening the exhaust control valve 11 in a starting mode, and for fully closing it in an idling mode, and a fuel injection control means 27 for setting fuel injection time longer in the starting mode than in the idling mode, and for having fuel injection starting time advanced, are also provided.
