Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion, decomposition and elimination agent of hydrocarbon and halogen-containing organic substances capable of highly efficiently decomposing and eliminating hydrocarbons containing benzene which is a vapor phase unburned part in exhaust gas, or chlorobenzenes and chlorophenols which are precursors of dioxin.
SOLUTION: The combustion, decomposition and elimination agent of the hydrocarbon and the halogen-containing organic substances, which contains, as components, a hydrosodalite and/or a hydrogarnet containing a transition metal or a precious metal as necessary, and which has a catalytic action for burning and decomposing unburned carbon, the hydrocarbon, and the halogen- containing organic substances exhausted from incinerators or the like.
