Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent unburnt components from being generated in a large amount and a local lift from being produced by providing air shield plates to restrict secondary air passing areas along the sides of a burner to areas at a distance away from the burner.
CONSTITUTION: Thick-fuel mixing sections A and thin-fuel mixing sections B are alternatively arranged inside a square tubular casing K with a bottom. Thick-fuel flames are formed above burner ports 1 provided on the thick-fuel mixing sections A and thin-fuel flames are formed above burner ports 2 provided on the thin-fuel mixing sections B. The casing K consists of a bottom plate 5, burner fixing plates 6 and side plates 7, and the burner fixing plates 6 serve as air shield plates which restrict secondary air passing areas along the sides of the thick- and thin-fuel mixing sections A and B to areas at a distance away from the thick- and thin-fuel mixing sections A and B. Thereby, the secondary air is prevented from abruptly flowing into flames formed at the burner.
