Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve a safety characteristic by a method wherein a combustion is prohibited even if an operation switch is turned ON in the case that a concentration of carbon monoxide more than a reference level is sensed within indoor air.
CONSTITUTION: A combustion controller 5 monitors a concentration level of carbon monoxide (CO) contained in indoor air. In the case that a fact that the concentration of CO exceeds a reference level is detected by a CO sensor 1, abnormal state caused by indoor air is displayed at an informing part 15 and at the same time a buzzer is rung to alarm a user. In addition, the combustion controller 5 does not start a combustion of a hot water feeder even if an operation switch is turned ON during informing an abnormal state and releases the informing operation when the CO value is less than the reference level of the concentration of CO. With such an arrangement as above, its safety characteristic can be improved.
