PURPOSE: To enable attainment of combustion of low NOx which is stable and free from the possibility of' burnout and backfire, by making a partition plate end inside a premixer and by making a part of a slanting part of a flame stabilizer form a flow passage inside the premixer.
CONSTITUTION: A partition plate 9 or a swirler 6 is made to end in the middle inside a premixer 4 and a slanting part 6a of a flame stabilizer 6 located on the downstream side thereof is extended from just behind the partition plate 9 or the swirler 5 in the premixer 4 to a sharply expanded part surface 6b of the flame stabilizer 6. According to this constitution, the sectional area of a flow passage in the premixer 4 through which air-fuel premixture AF flows decreases little by little on the downstream side of the partition plate 9 or the swirler 5. Accordingly, unstable combustion due to fire spread to a region just behind the partition plate or the swirler or retention of flame therein is eliminated.
