Abstract:

To simplify a facility configuration, to decrease energy consumption, and to eliminate the need for performing water quality management on water to be used for a chemical heat pump.

A combustion facility includes an exhaust line 22, a reaction container 31, a first takeout line 25, and a second takeout line 26. The exhaust line 22 exhausts an exhaust gas inside of a furnace 11 in which a burner 27 is provided for burning a fuel containing hydrogen atoms. In the reaction container 31, a chemical thermal storage medium 35 is accommodated. The first takeout line 25 is disposed to branch from the exhaust line 22 and penetrate the chemical thermal storage medium 35 and can be opened and closed. The second takeout line 26 is disposed to branch from the exhaust line 22 and introduce the exhaust gas into the reaction container 31 and can be opened and closed. The second takeout line 26 is opened, steam contained in the exhaust gas flowing into the second takeout line 26 is hydrated with the chemical thermal storage medium 35 to produce a reaction product and heat, and the resulting heat is radiated. In addition, the first takeout line 25 is opened, heat due to the exhaust gas flowing into the first takeout line 25 is absorbed by the reaction product of the chemical thermal storage medium 35, and the resulting heat is stored to produce the chemical thermal storage medium 35.
