Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion furnace capable of using liquidity solid fuel as fuel and self-burning it even if moisture content of liquidity solid fuel is relatively high in which clinker is hardly generated by a grate and a reduction of combustion efficiency caused by accumulation of clinker can be prevented.SOLUTION: A combustion furnace of this invention comprises: a furnace main body (1) having an exhaust part; a grate device (12) installed inside and below the furnace main body (1), having several grate plates of different outer diameters arranged in a vertical direction, each of the grate plates being arranged in such a way that their outer diameters of lower one may become large in sequence to have several steps formed at the upper surface of each of the grate plates and a ventilation part is present between each of the grate plates; an air swirling chamber (11) arranged below the grate device (12) and communicated with the ventilation part (130); an air supplying device (3) for supplying air in such a way that air is swirled in the air swirling chamber (11) in a horizontal direction; and a fuel supplying device (4) for supplying liquidity solid fuel onto the grate device (12).
