PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion improvement device capable of further improving combustion efficiency as compared with conventional technique.SOLUTION: A combustion improvement device 1 for treating combustion air includes a passage member 10 constituting a passage for combustion air, and a plurality of plate-like members 20 arranged in the passage member 10. A main surface of the plate-like member 20 is arranged in parallel to a flow direction through which the combustion air flows in the passage, and the plate-like member 20 is disposed to divide the passage in the flow direction. Radiation ray irradiation means for irradiating the combustion air with radiation rays, thereby to activate molecules in the combustion air is arranged in the plate-like member 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
