Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion improving device for improving a combustion efficiency better than the prior art, and for reducing the emission of a nitrogen oxide significantly.SOLUTION: A combustion improving device 1 for modifying combustion air comprises: a passage member 14 constituting a passage for combustion air; and a plurality of radiation ray irradiation means 20a arranged in the passage member 14 for irradiating combustion air passing a passage with radiation ray, thereby to nuclear-change nitrogen in the combustion air into oxygen and hydrogen thereby to electrically dissociate the oxygen in the combustion air into oxygen ions and to electrically dissociate the water in the combustion air into hydrogen ions and hydrate ions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
