To provide a combustion method for heavy oil emulsion fuel, which is capable of mixing heavy oil emulsion fuel and kerosene fuel nicely under a stabilized condition and burning the mixture while supplying it without generating any vapor lock.
Heavy oil emulsion fuel 110, on which dehydrating treatment is applied, and C-heavy oil 60 are mixed by a line blender 70 and, thereafter, the mixture is supplied to a boiler 10 through a heater 80 to burn the same. In order to treat the heavy oil emulsion through dehydrating treatment, the heavy oil emulsion is heated by the exhaust gas of the boiler or the like and, thereafter, the emulsion is guided to a moisture evaporator. According to this method, gas constituents or low-boiling point constituents, which become the cause of vapor lock, can be removed together with moisture.
