To simplify a device and control while reducing the emission of a gas to the atmospheric air in a combustion method applied to a stoker type incinerator.
In this stoker-type incinerator 1 in which waste A on a stoker 4 is primarily burned by supplying the primary air B to a primary combustion chamber 6 of an upper part of the stoker 4 from beneath the stoker 4, and the secondary air C is supplied to a secondary combustion chamber 7 at an upper part of the primary combustion chamber 6 to secondarily burn an unburned gas and unburned matters generated in the primary combustion chamber 6, an exhaust gas D of an internal combustion engine 12 is blown off to an upstream side of the secondary combustion chamber 7 to form a reduction zone.
