A rocket motor R to be tested is rotatably held at both ends thereof and supported by a rotary shaft 10 rotated and driven by an electric motor 6 and a motor holder 8 of three-point support type to give spin. A firing pin on a rocket motor R side is hit by a swing type hammer 18 operated by thrust of explosive to ignite and burn the rocket motor R. Thrust of the rocket motor R is understood as slide displacement of the whole table 5 and is detected by a load cell 14.
